Scholarships:

While the Baiardi Foundation does not grant to individuals it does support & fund a wide range of scholarship opportunities through traditional and vocational education administered by schools, trade schools, technical institutes, colleges & universities and charitable entities.

In some cases we fund specific scholarships and in others we fund general scholarship programs.

The Baiardi Foundation provides funding and does not determine/select scholarship recipients or award scholarship funds to individuals.

Each respective organization linked below is responsible for awarding the scholarships to individuals following our criteria and guidelines.

Scholarships are typically awarded annually although some are awarded on a 'rolling basis' according to each organization's timeline.

Grants and scholarships are subject to change/modification in offering, scope, number and amount ($).

The Directors regularly review the Foundation's scholarships for alignment with its current objectives, focus and priorities.

Scholarships may be marked Sunset if discontinued or Paused if being evaluated.

  • For Utility Technology/Lineworker Students, Two (2) Scholarships at $2000.00 each

  • For 'Fast Track Program' Students, program support up to a total of $4500.00
  
  
• North Central Michigan College Foundation
  • For Students Seeking an Associate Degree at North Central Michigan College, One (1) or more scholarship/s up to a total of $2500.00
  
  
• Masonry Institute of MIchigan Foundation
  • For Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management College Students, One (1) $5000.00 Scholarship
  
  
• Sunset...2025 following $265,750.00 granted
  Petoskey Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation
  • For Petoskey & Harbor Springs Area High School Students enrolling at a four (4) Year College or University, Three (3) Scholarships at $1500.00 each
  • For Pellston & Alanson Students enrolling at a Community College, Two (2) Scholarships at $1500.00 each
  
  
• McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital Foundation
  • For McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital Nurses, Three (3) 'Continuing Education' Scholarships at $1500.00 each
  
  
• Industrial Arts Institute
  • Two (2) Welding Technology/Training Scholarships at $2500.00 each
  
  
• Paused...2023 following $70,000.00 granted
  Cranbrook Kingswood Schools
  • One (1) Horizons-Upward Bound High School Scholarship program support at $5000.00
  
  
• History Department-Wayne State University
  • One (1) Department of History Scholarship at $2500.00
  
  
• Wayne Law-Wayne State University
